Folkatron is GO! - 24 April 2008
My live promotions side-project over exceded my expections. We had a good few people turn up even despite the Champions League and it was one of the most fun and folk filled nights I've ever had.
The venue had a piano and so after learning to play two songs in souncheck Chris did a lovely bit of piano playing... was one of those things that you don't plan but are great.
Highlights for me were Sean Taylor playing 'Jack Derrida Blues', Note To Self deciding to banish the microphone, Benjamin Thomas singing 'Guantanimo', Harrisburg's gravelly voice and the sound of The Lorcas banjo.
Brilliant!
Great Fun! - 13 April 2008
Today was a lovely gig. Isn't it funny how the best things happen when you least expect them?
Thanks to everyone who stuck around to listen to the two songs, it was most enjoyable listening to you lot singing the chorus.

Radio Airplay - 6 April 2008
Following the positive review at
www.rootstime.be I was delighted to hear that I'll be getting played on
www.fmgoud.be/html/luisterlive.htm. It's an independent radio station that plays lots of nice folkie stuff and the show will be broadcast on the 7th of April between 7pm & 8pm local time.
Lost in Translation - 24 March 2008
Great News my album has received a review. Not so good... I cannot read it. Yes I've a degree in English & do not know how to translate this vast language into anything. Answers on a postcard from any Flemish speakers would be much appreciated.
Stage Door Gig - 23 March 2008
Thanks to Jared, Ruth, Benjamin & Trent for putting on a fantastic night of live music. Also thanks to everyone who provided the click track & backing vocals for the night - much appreciated, see you all sooner than we think :)
